The Memory of Water with Vilja Vitkute and Małgorzata Suś

AW+ in the theater's cozy foyer offers after work with the opportunity to enjoy a good drink in the company of friends and colleagues PLUS stage plays on changing themes!

This time there will be a combination of dance and live body painting and a subsequent conversation about the creative process. The performance is shown on the Lilla stage and the conversation is held on the foyer stage.   The evening is organized together with Samar Jabri, cultural secretary at Publika möteten.

the MEmory of water

The Memory of Water is a multidisciplinary performance that combines dance, live body painting and captivating visual projections. Artist Vilija Vitkutė and dancer Małgorzata Suś create a unique live act where powerful forms of expression intertwine. The images projected were taken during the filming of The Memory of Water in Iceland. Inspired by the demanding, extreme environment and the challenging encounters with various forces of nature, the show takes us on a transformative journey that reminds us of man's connection with nature.  Tonight's performance is the Swedish premiere of The Memory of Waters .

After the performance, there will be a conversation with the artists about the creative process, led by Samar Jabri. The conversation takes place on the Foajéscenen.

The doors to the Theater foyer open at 6:00 p.m. with the possibility to buy drinks in the bar. At 19:00 the act starts on Lilla scen and lasts for about an hour. The after-call starts shortly afterwards on the foyer stage. The foyer closes at 22:00.
